A good place to get some beef noodle soup! Portions are right, very generous with the amount of beef. The taste is also good. Same goes with the ramen. You'll get your money's worth.

Walked by the restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed and would return to try other things on the menu.
Based on the suggestion of other yelpers, we tried the popcorn chicken and it was amazing like others have said. The seasoning was a little salty but it worked well. I opted for the boneless chicken leg on rice and I really liked it! Everything went well together on the plate and I especially loved the pickle. It's not your usual pickle and I don't really know what it is but it was seasoned just right and worked as a refresher from all the deep fried things I was eating. My boyfriend got one of the fall specials: pork cheek and beef steak on rice. It came in a sizzling bowl which was pretty neat and tasted really good.
The interior was pretty modern. A little small...like most restaurants in Chinatown but can definitely hold large groups if you plan ahead.
The service was great and the staff was friendly. The food was ready in a reasonable time frame. -

It is a rainy day and I walked by this restaurant. I was served with hot water :) ordered pork katsu with cheese. Crispy, crunchy and perfect flavor. I live in Toronto but if I visit Ottawa again, I will probably visit Ching's Kitchen again.

Pretty good food and comfy atmosphere in general. Food comes fast and good portions. we ordered a beef chowmein and a braised pork on rice, good flavor(chowmein need just a little bit more sauce I think) and ....lots of meat... -

7 friends and I decided to come here for dinner around 7pm on Sunday night. I had never heard of this restaurant and had low expectations. Their menu consists of Tawainese, Japanese and Korean food. I haven't had many good experiences at restaurants that have a variety of Asian cuisine on their menu.
But I was pleasantly surprised by Ching's Kitchen!
We ordered appetizers: popcorn chicken and takoyaki (Japanese squid dough balls) and we were all very happy. The popcorn chicken was AMAZING! I would return just for this appetizer. One of the guys also ordered fried chicken pieces. It was good, but in most of the group's opinion, the popcorn chicken was better.
I ordered the Sukiyaki udon soup, which came in a hotpot. It was simple but very good. I enjoyed it and was satisfied at the end of the meal.
The service was great, there was only 1 waitress that night but we always had water refills and the food came to the table fairly quickly. The place wasn't dead, most of the other tables were busy too.
The ambiance really rounded out the whole experience for me. It reminded me of the time I was in Seoul, South Korea. The restaurant is very much like ones I had been to there, and Ching's Kitchen even had a kpop playlist going the whole time. I really enjoyed it and will highly recommend it to my friends. And I will definitely be returning as well.
